Location of Lochend Till Outcrop

Go south on Elbow Drive SW from Anderson Road South. Park at Votier's Flat Day Use Area  

From the Voitier's Flat parking lot, take the paved path to your left when facing south.  Follow the loop until you see the outcrop before the loop bends back north.

From the north side of Fish Creek, you can see the Lochend Formation Till capped by glacial lake sediments. The gravels below are modern-age fluvial deposits.  Don't cross the creek and please obey the signs and fences that are up for riparian ecosystem restoration.
