The area is in Southwest Calgary between Bow Trail SW and the Tsuut'ina Parkway at Taza Park, and Sarcee Trail SW to Crowchild Trail SW. Everything is car accessible.

From anywhere in Caglary, go to the north end of Sarcee Trail South. Don't go to Sarcee Trail North on the other side of the Bow River - easy to get these confused. From there you can drive the areas shown or stop at the locations noted on photos. Unlike most outcrops, these glacial channels are linear features and, as favoured natural roadways, tend to be occupied by busy roads.

The surficial expression of the glacial channels have been muted over time by colluvial infill and later development fill and leveling. So the surficial expressions are not evident everywhere anymore. They also cross-cut the typical NS-EW road pattern so they jump from city block to city block. Watch for traffic!
The north end of the Glamorgan Spillway entrance at the Edworthy Park dog park. This is the spill point of Glacial Lake Bow south to Glacial Lake Elbow that formed the Spillway. Note that Edworthy Park ravine (not seen) is a younger feature.
